From the early 18th century French limestone fireplace in the main entertaining space to the large mission doors that lead out into a wide-open courtyard ideal for meeting and mingling, each space throughout the villa is outfitted intentionally and every piece of decor has an intricate story behind it, ready to be told. All locations are usable in multiple capacities– ceremony, cocktail hour, luncheon, dinner, wine tasting, etc– depending on vision and guest count.
Full build-out is required. La Tarantella is a blank-slate property.

The maximum guest count is 200. However, with the multiple available areas, we can provide ideally suited spaces for various events. Whether you're planning a small corporate dinner for ten, a family reunion luncheon for 100, or the wedding of your dreams for 200 guests, we can accommodate your party size.

Depending on the size of your event, you will have access to various portions of the estate for your event, as well as additional time for set-up and strike as needed and agreed upon. All rentals, catering, lighting, and restrooms, must be brought into the space through outside vendors. We have power on site, but supplemental power sources may be required, pending your final event plan.

Yes, we require a full-service event planner to handle all your planning needs. They must also be onsite for installation, event execution, and strike. We recommend you hire your event planner before booking your site tour of the property.

As good neighbors, we follow Santa Barbara County's 10pm end-time requirement, as we are primarily an outdoor venue.

We are happy to supply you with a list of preferred caterers and vendors who are familiar with our property. All vendors must be fully licensed and insured to work on the property and must be full-service.

There is limited parking on site for vendors and hosts of the event. All guests must be shuttled into the property via a licensed and insured company.

Hard liquor is allowed when served through a fully licensed-and-insured caterer or bartending company. Grassini Family Vineyards wine is subject to current availability. When not available, outside wine is allowed.
